Bharat's Ram Rajya Era is Here

India is embarking on a transformative journey and stepping aboard the Ram Rajya Era under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This dream is no longer confined to the realms of a fictional world but a tangible reality. The Ram Rajya today extends beyond mere governance; it encompasses a vision of social justice, equality, opportunities for all, safety, security, prosperity, and freedom.

What we are witnessing is but a glimpse of the comprehensive transformation that is taking place. Prime Minister Modi's roadmap for India spans not just years but centuries, laying the foundation for a Ram Rajya that grows stronger, larger, and more impactful with each passing moment.

The manifestation of this Ram Rajya is evident in PM Modi’s massive efforts - from ensuring last-mile delivery of benefits to empowering women through initiatives like the Ujjwala Yojana, from fostering a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem for the youth, to mainstreaming the tribals economically and socially. These endeavors are just the tip of the iceberg, offering a preview of what the complete Ram Rajya experience will entail.

India is rediscovering its ancient glory by developing Bharat as Sampann (prosperous), Sashakt (empowered), Swabhiman (self-respecting), Samaveshi (inclusive), Samvedansheel (compassionate), Swachch (clean), Swasthh (healthy), Surakshit (secure), and Shrestha (exemplary) nation. These attributes signify not just a national resurgence but a global exemplar of holistic development. The Ram Rajya unfolding before us is a testament to turning the wheels of Bharat to "turn the tide" and reclaim its ancient greatness.

Let's explore what these attributes of Ram Rajya entail:

Sampann Bharat

India's economic growth has been remarkable in recent years, making it one of the fastest-growing nations globally at 6.7% GDP growth. Strong economic reforms, infrastructure development, and a burgeoning entrepreneurial ecosystem are some of the factors to it. India is also a digitally empowered nation globally leading the world with crossing 100 billion UPI transactions in December 2023. It also has the highest fintech adoption rate at 87% in the world. Not only this, GST collection exceeded ₹1.6 Lakh Crore consecutively for the 7th time. It is interesting to note that FDI inflows in the last 9 years of $615.73 Bn are 65% of total FDI inflow in the last 23 years.

Sashakt Bharat

India's defense sector has witnessed an extraordinary surge in exports, marking a historic high of ₹16,000 crore in the fiscal year 2022-2023, a remarkable 23 times increase. In a landmark development, the defense production sector has surpassed ₹1 lakh crore for the first time. Captains Shiva Chauhan, Geetika Koul, and Group Captain Shaliza Dhami etc stand as living examples of Nari Shakti, showcasing the strength and capability of Indian women in the defense sector. India's achievement in making its helicopters, aircraft, and submarines, and having Asia's largest helicopter facility in Tumkuru, marks a significant step towards self-reliance in defense.

Swabhimaan Bharat

‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ has ignited India’s India's evolution from a mere importer to a notable innovator and exporter reflecting a transformative journey. The government's PLI scheme, investing ₹76,000 crore across 14 sectors, propels indigenous production and innovation. This commitment is evident in India's self-reliant achievements, including the development and export of COVID-19 vaccines, Vande Bharat Trains, UPI, aircraft, and helicopters. A staggering 260% surge in India's export of electronic goods underscores the nation's growing prowess in the global market. Remarkably, India has achieved the world's fastest 5G rollout, deploying 400,000 stations within just one year. This technological leap positions India at the forefront in its technological landscape. India is emerging as a dynamic player on the global stage, setting the stage for sustained growth and leadership in various sectors.

Samaveshi Bharat

India's legislative strides include the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam Bill for 33% women's reservation in Lok Sabha and state assemblies, promoting gender inclusivity in governance. The abolition of Triple Talaq resulted in an 82% reduction in cases in just one year of the passage of the bill bringing minorities into the ambit of equality and justice. Not only this, over 13.5 crore people have broken the chains of poverty, reflecting inclusive development efforts. Not to forget the Transgender Persons Act, 2019, addresses discrimination against transgenders, fostering inclusivity. For the artisans, the PM Vishwakarma Scheme supports 30 lakh families, enhancing their market reach and global integration. Notably, there's a 190% increase in the Annual Tribal Budget, from ₹4,296 crore in 2013-14 to ₹12,461.88 crore in 2023-24, empowering tribal communities.

Initiatives like the National Safai Karmcharis Finance and Development Corporation aim at eliminating manual scavenging and uplifting Safai Karamcharis. These actions collectively signify India's commitment to social justice, gender equality, poverty alleviation, and the empowerment of marginalized communities.

Samvedansheel Bharat

India has become a global beacon of compassion and cooperation. Through "Vaccine Maitri," India exported vaccines to over 150 nations, embodying solidarity during the global pandemic. At the G20 Summit too, India emerged as the voice of the Global South, advocating for equitable solutions. India's humanitarian efforts extend beyond borders, providing aid to nations in times of crises through initiatives like 'Operation Dost' in Turkey, 'Operation Rahat' in Yemen, 'Operation Maitri' in Nepal, 'Operation Sankat Mochan' in South Sudan, and 'Operation Ganga' in Ukraine.

India also stands as the second-largest contributor to UN Peacekeeping Missions, with troops deployed in Golan Heights, Lebanon, Congo, and South Sudan. It underscores India's commitment to fostering international cooperation, and diplomacy, with empathy & compassion, solidifying its role as a responsible global player.

Swasth Bharat

It epitomizes a transformative healthcare initiative, Ayushman Bharat. Over 60 crore citizens have been provided health cover, with more than 30 crore Ayushman Cards created by January 12, 2024. This program has not only saved a staggering ₹1 lakh crore in out-of-pocket expenses but has also ensured cashless and paperless access to health services at the point of care.

Ayushman Bharat has led to a remarkable 21% decline in out-of-pocket health expenditure, alleviating the financial burden on families. Additionally, there's an 8% reduction in the need for emergency loans related to health expenses, reflecting improved affordability and accessibility. The program stands as a testament to India's commitment to ensuring health coverage for its citizens, promoting financial well-being, and fostering a healthier and more resilient society.

Swachha Bharat

Under the Swachh Bharat initiative, India achieved a monumental transformation by constructing 12 crore individual toilets and ensuring 100% Open Defecation Free (ODF) status from a mere 38% in 2014. This extraordinary progress not only signifies improved sanitation but has also been a lifesaver for 3 lakh children from impoverished families, preventing diarrheal deaths. The nationwide effort reflects India's commitment to health, hygiene, and the well-being of its citizens, achieving a significant milestone in a short span.

Surakshit Bharat

It is a commendable achievement for India that there have been no major terrorist attacks in Indian cities outside conflict zones since 2014. The nation has demonstrated effective cross-border responses, including surgical and airstrikes. The significant reduction in terrorist-initiated incidents in Jammu and Kashmir, from 228 in 2018 to 41 in 2022, is attributed to the abrogation of Article 370. This constitutional change has breathed new life into Kashmir, fostering stability, and security, and paving the way for socio-economic development in the region.

Shreshtha Bharat

India is reviving its past glory with modern infrastructure resulting in a massive cultural awakening. The cultural rejuvenation includes events like Kashi Tamil Sangamam, strengthening ties between ancient learning centers. Initiatives like the Madhavpur Mela in Gujarat to reconnect the Mishmi tribe of Arunachal Pradesh with their ancestry. Efforts to retrieve stolen artifacts have seen 238+ returned in 9 years, compared to just 13 before 2014. The PRASAD Scheme enhances pilgrim sites, Sanskrit promotion is seeing a new dawn,  and a thriving Khadi sector witnessed threefold profits in last 9 years. From the redevelopment of cultural sites like Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Mahakaal Corridor, Ram Mandir, New Parliament, Kartarpur Corridor, India is preserving its rich legacy.

In the 21st century, India is making history, becoming a global leader admired by the world. This special time is marked by progress and influence, inspired by the ideals of Ram Rajya.  It is incumbent upon every Indian to embrace the values exemplified by Sri Rama & aim to achieve even a small part of the excellence seen in Maryada Purushottam.

Together we can build Ram Rajya !

Jai Shree Ram!
